I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help and assistance in booking the above event and for your help on the day. All of my staff that attended on the day said what an excellent venue you have and especially enjoyed the lunch! The day went very well and was enjoyed by my team and I am sure that this was due to the venue and your assistance. I will certainly consider booking the Monkhouse Granary if my department has another away day in the summer.

I would like to say that we have held many events at the Monkhouse Granary, from training sessions to Team Development Days. The venue provides for all our needs, from technological requirements to excellent home produced food. We always receive an excellent and personal service, which is well planned in advance and also totally responsive to any changes or additions on the day. We find it to be very popular with staff, and highly conducive to productive work.

What a fantastic conference venue, after holding conferences for the last 15 years at various venues, I would strongly recommend the Monkhouse Granary to anyone requiring the perfect first class conferencing service. The location is ideal with central links to all areas for both Shropshire and further afield. The venue itself was more akin to Grand Designs than your standard conference facility. It was such a refreshing change to have a dedicated conference facility (instead of a bolted on service in a hotel), offering latest technologies, dedicated parking, a team on hand that could not do enough, a comfortable and stylish conference room environment, wonderful food and a setting that encompassed both countryside and main transport links.

We were very satisfied throughout last year (2008) but just for information we recently decided to try a different location which was only an hour away from us. Our experience of trying an alternative location in a regular hotel resulted in us coming back to you! Even though the other location was easier for us all to get to the room and surroundings were no where near the standard of your Granary. I had a discussion with my sales team and although the Monkhouse is a 3 hour drive for me, and further for the rest of the team we would rather drive the extra distance than resort to a typical hotel meeting room. To give you an idea we travel from Crewe, Wrexham, Shrewsbury, Chester and Nottingham. I would gladly recommend your site for the following reasons:

• It has a definite friendly farmhouse atmosphere, the location is excellent, easy access from the M6 in a small village, no busy towns to drive through, no traffic.
• We are always met with a smile and looked after (no waiting in hotel reception lobbies).
• You can park right outside the door which is vital for loading meeting equipment.
• The adjacent farmhouse courtyard is perfect for coffee breaks, (after fighting over the home made biscuits you give us), its just like being in a holiday cottage location.

Thanks so much Clare. It was a fantastic day and everyone was very impressed with the venue, the food and the service. So thanks once again to you and Elaine for providing such a professional service. I will recommend to others in our Trust if they are looking for a venue to hold their meetings.

Just wanted to thank you and all concerned for the facilities and food etc. provided for our Away Day. There was extremely positive feedback from those who attended and it was a very successful day. I would just like to thank you for making us so welcome last Thursday for our Away Day.The venue is superb and actually contributed to the amount of positive work achieved through the day. The team felt very relaxed in the atmosphere and from that, contributed more than in a venue less comfortable or formal.

Thank you much for all you did to ensure we had a very successful Away Day at Monkhouse Granary, making good use of the Hayloft and the Coach Room combined.

We were very well looked after and appreciated all the personal touches from the greetings on arrival to the home cooked food.

The setting is impressive, there is ample parking, peace and tranquility with a rich mix of the old and new, the friendly and the professional.

Most of all our day was well managed by Clare, who is always on hand to ensure everyone feels comfortable and well looked after.

We have recommended your venue and would certainly come again.
